A classic recipe on a reliable favourite 


  • 1 can of organic chickpeas (400g)
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • A little water if required for consistency



  1. Blend all ingredients together in a blender until makes a smooth consistency. Use a little water if required to make it the consistency you would like.
  2. Serve with corn cakes, crackers/cakes, with a salad or on toast.
