practitioner of naturopathy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, homeopathy, clinical nutrition, Bowen technique and counselling.

In 1994 Zam graduated from naturopathy, of which her greatest passion was herbal medicine. Zam joined HealthWise after moving to Brisbane in 1997. She completed further post-graduate studies in western herbal medicine and taught at an under-graduate and post-graduate level in both Perth and Brisbane for 10 years.

Zam’s practice incorporates another passion of hers, counselling, primarily Transactional Analysis; though she also has experience in Gestalt therapy, re-parenting, regression therapy and voice dialogue. These all aim to help people with the many challenges faced in life. Combining skills in physical and mental health is always a goal of her practice.

Completing qualifications in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine has added to Zam’s extensive knowledge of the body and the interactions with our surroundings. As part of her training in acupuncture, Zam completed an internship in hospitals in China in 2001 and 2004.

Zam enjoys helping clients achieve optimum health, knowing that without it life is compromised - her wish is for each individual to reach their full potential. An area of special interest for Zam is women’s health, especially infertility and IVF support, menstrual disorders and menopause. Zam also has extensive experience in the treatment of digestive dysfunctions, musculoskeletal conditions and the management of stress and anxiety.

Zam has recently begun teacher training in Iyengar Yoga. She lives in the country, enabling her to be in touch with the earth and nature and tries to tread on the earth as lightly as possible.
